His Royal Highness Dr Selky Kile Torughedi, the Amananawei of Azuzzuama (the Eyewei the 5th of Azuzuama), Southern Ijaw LGA of Bayelsa State has congratulated Senator Heineken Lokpobiri over his successful screening by the Senate.
In a statement issued by the Bayelsa Monarch on Friday August 4th 2023 and made available to journalists, HRH Dr Selky used the opportunity to call on all Indigenes and citizens of Bayelsa State to rally round Senator Heineken and provide him the needed support, politically and otherwise, following the successful screening of the former lawmaker by the 10th Senate.
HRH Dr noted that as Minister designate, there was need for all Bayelsans irrespective of political and other interests, support the Minister designate in order to provide him with the needed motivation and support to him in the discharge of his duty as a Minster of the Federal Republic of Nigeria when he is eventually sworn-in.
HRH Dr Selky added that good men like Senator Heineken have shown capacity in Nation Building, therefore there is need to support him in the interest of a better Nigeria, Haven served as the Nigerian Minister of State for Agriculture and Rural Development under the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari. He was recently nominated as additional persons for consideration as Minister.
