High Expectations as Gov. Mutfwang Bolsters Administration with Appointment of Significant Number of Youths into his cabinet

The recent appointments by His Excellency the Executive Governor of Plateau State, Barr. Caleb Mannaseh Mutfwang, has obviously been received with joy, commendation and enthusiasm by the people of Plateau given the significant number of youths that made the list as promised by the talk-and-do Governor during his campaigns and or electioneering process.

Youths who made the list includes the following: Mr. Wayas Jim Pam (Chairman Plateau State Internal Revenue Service); Arch. Hart Bankat (General Manager, Jos Metropolitan Development Board); Hon Peter Lamba (Commissioner Environment); Hon. Musa Ashoms (Commissioner for information);
Mr. Davou Gyang Jatau (Commissioner for transport); Hon. Bashir Lawandi Datti (Commissioner for youth and sport); Hon. Jamila Tukur (Commissioner for tourism and hospitality)
Hon. Ziphion Chrysanthus (Abuja Liason Directorate); Pharm. John Chung (Abuja Liason Directorate) amongst others.

The young appointees are prominent Plateau grassroots political leaders who have been nominated to serve the state. With remarkable knowledge and vast experience in party politics and administration, governance, investment and business management is poised on them to make significant contributions to the development and progress of THE TIME IS NOW administration.

Worthy of note is that they appointees are widely recognized for their exceptional leadership ability to foster unity and cohesion. Their commitment so far to promoting harmony among the diverse groups in the state have been instrumental in bridging social and ethnic divides at their young ages. Indeed, they have demonstrated strong sense of commitment and leadership which has undoubtedly, continued to be seen throughout their illustrious political careers.

While occupying offices previously both in private and public sector, it is true that they appointees have proven to be capable and efficient administrators in contributing immensely to the smooth functioning and assisting in the formulation of important policies that are beneficial to already existing structures.

Furthermore, with their expertise, passion and good work ethics, they appointees possess all the requisite qualities required to serve exceptionally in their distinct responsibilities. To also bring with them their wealth of knowledge Iand experience, as well as track records of advocating for the welfare and progress of Plateau people. It is without a doubt that they will bring significant positive change and contribute towards the development of the state.

Their appointment into the various offices by His Excellency is a testament to their dedication to service, commitment to duty, humility, doggedness, credibility and integrity. As they are expected to bring their wealth of experience, pragmatic approach and result-oriented mindset to bear on the task at hand. Their vision for a prosperous and inclusive society, along with their ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders will undoubtedly contribute to the realization of Governor Caleb Mutfwang vision for a better Plateau.

The appointees are admonished not to let the youths down while performing their legitimate duties as their response and performance has everything to do with the creation and enhancement of more opportunities for the youths in the process of governance in the state and Nigeria as a whole.
