The Honorable Commissioner, Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs Plateau State, Chief Ephraim Usman has said that the present administration is working hard to remove Plateau State from the shackles of backwardness to the path of progress and development. The Honorable Commissioner stated this during a courtesy call on him by the people of Kantana Constituency, led by the Kanam Local Government Council Chairman Hon. Ado Yusuf in his office on Thursday 14th September 2023.
Usman, reiterated that the time is Now Administration of Governor Mutfwang is focus and determine to do the right thing in the interest and common good of all citizens. And this is aimed at living good legacy, he added that the Ministry has already Keyed into the vision and mission of the government which has started yielding result and promises to convey all their request Governor.
Responding on behalf of the delegation the Council Chairman Hon. Ado Yusuf, said the entire Kantana Constituency at home and diaspora felicitated with him over his appointment by the Executive Governor of Plateau State as member of the State Executive Council and Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Which he described as well deserved.
He further said that looking at his pedigree the Governor will not be disappointed because he is an upright man that always work for Justice when given an assignment.
In another response Mr. Philemon Majam who spoke on behalf of the youth said they were filled with joy over the philanthropic gesture of the Honorable Commissioner who gave the Constituency 100 bags of assorted grains to cushion the effect of fuel subsidy saying this has gone a long way in alleviating the economic hardship been experience in the country. They pledged their loyalty to the Mutfwang led Administration.
