W The event which held on Tuesday 26th September 2023 at Langfield Park and Event Central Little Rayfield, Jos had in attendance the Governor of Plateau State Caleb Mutfwang and his wife Hellen Mutfwang, the Speaker and members of the Plateau State House of Assembly, ably represented by the Deputy Speaker Rt Hon From Gwottson, Secretary to the Government of Plateau State, the National Vice Chairman, North Central of the PDP Theophilus Dakkasshan, State PDP Chairman ably represented by the State Deputy Chairman, Captain Golleng, all Commissioners, Heads of Boards and Parastatals, Transition Implementation Committee Chairmen of the 17LGAs among others.

Recall that the Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda had approached the Tribunal challenging the March 20th 2023 declaration of Mutfwang by INEC as Governor of Plateau State alleging that as at the time of the election amongst other things, Governor Mutfwang was not qualified to contest having not been validly nominated and sponsored by his party (the PDP) as the party had no structure as at the time of the said election. However in its Judgment on Friday 21st September 2023, the Tribunal dismissed the Petition for lacking in merit.
