The Commissioner, Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Plateau State, Chief Ephraim Usman has said that the present administration in the State is determined to ensure equitable development to all Communities in the State. Chief Usman disclosed this during a courtesy call on him by the Bogghom Traditional Council of Kanam Local Government Area led by the Pangkwal Bogghom, His Royal Highness, Alhaji Shehu Suleiman in his Office.
In a statement issued by the Head of Information Unit of the Ministry, Edward Damwesh and made available to this medium on Friday 29th September 2023, the Honorable Commissioner further stressed that the “Time is now” administration of Governor Caleb Mutfwang has already put all modalities in place for the rapid socio-economic and infrastructural development of the State, hence the need for all and sundry to support the Government at all levels.
He further solicited for continues prayers for the Government and people of the State for peaceful co-existence which is necessary for us to achieve development.
Earlier in his remark, His Royal Highness, the Pangkwal Bogghom, Alhaji Shehu Suleiman stated that they are in the Commissioner’s Office to identify with him as their son as well as congratulate him on his appointment by the Governor which he said that has gladden their hearts.
According to the Monarch, their support to the Government is total and it is their earnest prayers that the Government will succeed in all ramifications.
