The Executive Governor of Plateau State Barrister Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has returned to the state, following his departure to the United States of America some weeks ago where he has met with the Plateau Community in the States, engaged investors and key institutions with the view to attracting Foreign Direct Investment and other opportunities for Plateau citizens.
On Monday 30th October 2023, hundreds of Plateau citizens thrunked the Yakubu Gowon Airport in their numbers and could not hide their excitement over the return of the Governor.
While addressing supporters shortly after his arrival, Governor Mutfwang thanked the people of Plateau State for their patience and for keeping hope with his administration, adding that their coming out in their numbers to receive him has once again gladdened his heart and is a show of Love for him.
Governor Mutfwang told supporters that his journey to the United States was not for himself but was in search of opportunities and good things for Plateau State which by God’s grace will begin to manifest in a very short time.
The Governor also reiterated his administration’s commitment to improve the living standards of Plateau people, adding that very soon his administration will commence the distribution of fertilizers to farmers across the state.
Governor Mutfwang cautioned the people not to make any derogatory remarks against Judicial Officers following the outcome of some of the electoral cases at the Court of Appeal, stressing that those that went against the PDP are only but temporary setbacks, adding that he believes that in the end Justices will be served; which will further ratify the mandate Plateau people freely gave the PDP in the State.
