Coalition of APC support groups calls on President BOLA Ahmad Tinubu to appoints Hon. David Bitrus Kasuwa as Lalong’ s Ministerial Replacement from Plateau State

A coalition of APC support groups that worked for the election of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu in Plateau State have joined well meaning Plateau citizens and other Nigerians in calling on President Bola Ahmad Tinubu to appoint Honourable David Bitrus Kasuwa as a replacement to Former Governor of Plateau State and current Minister of Labour and Employment, Simon Bako Lalong.

In a statement signed by the Chairman of the Coalition, Abdulahi Saleh and the Secretary, Hon. Sunday Jagaba and made available to this medium, the group called on the APC State Executive Committee, National Assembly members, Youth groups and all stakeholders to appeal to the President to consider the choice of Honourable David Bitrus Kasuwa as Lalong’s replacement.

The leader of the coalition, Hon. Abdulahi Salleh, said that the call is necessary considering that the vacancy will play out should Lalong resign as the Minister of Labour and employment.


The Leader of the coalition further stated that Honourable Bitrus Kasuwa has demonstrated serious commitment towards APC in Plateau State and the country at large. He said that, Bitrus Kasuwa has the requisite experience to serve in the Federal Executive Council of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu.

He described Honourable Barji as a public political figure who has been in the political terrain for more than a decade and has contested to represent the good people of Pankshin, Kanke and Kanam twice. He has been a loyal and committed party man which both old and the Youth are happy with him.
