The Nigerian Army Officers Wives Association (NAOWA) 3 Division Chapter has distributed palliatives to no fewer the 350 women who comprise of wives of soldiers and Widows at the Maxwell Khobe Cantonment on Friday 22nd December 2023.
In her remark Chairperson of NAOWA 3 Division Chapter, Mrs Fibishola Abubakar thanked the Chief of Army Staff Lt. General Taoreed Lagbaja, his wife and President of NAOWA Mrs Mariya Abiodun Lagbaja, the General Officer Commanding 3 Division and Commander Operation Safe Haven, Major General A.E Abubakar, executive members and members of NAOWA 3 Division chapter, members of the Nigeria Soldiers Wives Association (NASWA) and partners for the support and encouragement they provided in the outgoing year 2023.
She restated her commitment to the welfare of members, and especially wives of fallen heroes going forward, while promising her support for the welfare of members. The package she distributed to the recipients comprised of Rice, Cooking Oil and other items.
The NAOWA Chairperson 3 Division then announced the donation of two cows to the members of NASWA for barbeque. She also pledge to shoulder the cost of cooking and drinks for whatever celebration arrangement they will organize with the donation. The excited women expressed deep appreciation to the Mrs Fibishola Abubakar for her continuous demonstration of love and empathy towards them.
