In the spirit of Christmas celebration, Hon Dung Danboyi, a PDP aspirant for Riyom State Constituency in the last elections has distributed palliatives to over 200 beneficiaries. The beneficiaries who were mostly widows were from Riyom LGA and other neighboring LGAs who were affected by conflicts in areas.
Hon Dung Danboyi deemed it fit to commemorate the birth of Jesus Christ with widows at an event which took place on Sunday 24th December 2023 in his home town Sopp, Riyom.
In his address, Hon Dung Danboyi said that the gesture was not aimed at discrediting anyone or showcasing himself as better than others but to felicitates with the aforementioned people.
Hon Dung Danboyi extent this kind gesture to celebrate and to share love of Christ with his people as the season depicts. The honourable wishes his people a Merry Christmas and a Prosperous New Year.
PDP executives, principal officers and the women expressed their gratitude to Dung for always giving back to the people consistently. They also called on other Riyom leaders to follow Dung’s kind gesture for the betterment of the people. The people were appreciative of the good works Hon. Dung Danboyi is always doing and had promised to stand with him.
