HRH Dr Selky Kile Torughedi (Eyewei V) aka General Young Shall Grow has continued to mobilize Ijaw clans for unity and progress. On Friday 14th January, 2024 the monarch visited Korokorosei, Ayama and IKienghenbiri communities to strengthen communal relationship between them and Azuzuama.
In the cause of the visit HRH Dr Selky thanked the leadership and the good people of Korokorosei, Ayama and IKienghenbiri communities for their quest to foster peaceful relationships with Azuzuama despite the provocative misbehavior from some misguided youths. Those present includes the leadership of Korokorosei, Ayamah and Ikienghenbiri communities which comprises of the Acting Amananawei of Korokorosei, the CDC Chairman, Women leaders, Youth Bodies, the Vigilante Chairman and Elders as well as the DPO of Korokorosei Police Post.
The leadership of the various communities were overwhelmed with the peaceful dispositions of HRH Dr. Selky Kile and equally thanked him for making this profound visit admist his very busy schedules. They also promised to join hands with HRH Dr. Selky to fight against acts of juvenile delinquency and youth exuberance that threaten peaceful coexistence between the good people of the various communities.
HRH DR. Selky while speaking during the visit warned the youths to stay away from criminality and embrace education in order to prepare them for future employment opportunities and other fruitful ventures that become meaningful citizens of the various communities they hail from in order to serve humanity. He urged all to embibe the spirit of brotherliness and unity to ensure development and prosperity for all.
