The Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the Saturday February 3rd 2024, Chris Giwa has won his home polling units of Dakwak 1 (Kuru Ward B Unit 012), Dakwak 2 (Kuru Ward B Unit 015) and Dakwak 3 (Kuru B Ward Unit 016) in Jos South LGA of Plateau State with an accumulated 266 votes to defeat the Action Democratic Party (ADP) Prince Pam Mwadkon who scored 212.
The election was generally marred by voter apathy and delayed deployment of electoral materials to polling units, though peaceful across the 6 LGAs Bassa, Jos East, Jos North, Jos South and Riyom LGAs where the polls for the Senatorial District held. Results are expected to be announced within the next 24 hours.
