The Executive Governor of Plateau State Caleb Mannaseh Mutfwang are approved the Immediate dissolution of the Governing Council of the Plateau State University Bokkos. In a statement issued by the Secretary to the Government of Plateau State, Arch Samuel Nanchang Jatau on Tuesday 6th February 2024, the Governor also directed the immediate removal of the Vice Chancellor of the Universe, Prof Bernard Matur.
According to the statement, Governor Mutfwang also directed the removal of the Rector of the Plateau State Polytechnic Barkin Ladi and the Provosts of the Colleges of Health Technology Zawan and Pankshin respectively.
Consequently, all recruitments done by the institution from October 2022 have been cancelled and advertisement be made for fresh recruitment for the public to apply.
