The tenure of the State Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) Mr Abubakar Dogara as Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC) Chairman Plateau State ended on Thursday 29th Feb 2024.
A news leadership of the council was elected and inaugurated, with State Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Hon Chris Hassan emerging as the New IPAC Chairman Plateau State.
Four other chairmanship aspirants had earlier stepped down, making way for the emergence of Hon Chris Hassan. They are Hon Akpi Emerson of NRM, Tokji Mandim of NNPP, Mikel James of Accord Party and Hon Simon Gopep of YPP.
The newly inaugurated EXCO of IPAC Plateau State are;
Chris Adukuchili Hassan of PDP – Chairman
Panshak Verangkat of the SDP – Deputy Chairman
Aminu Hadi of APP – Secretary
Roselin Tauri of YPP – Deputy Secretary
Grace Zamfara of LP – Treasurer
Hannatu Gagara of ADC – Organising Secretary
Joseph Mancha of APC – Publicity Secretary
Prince M. Ayuba AAC – Financial Secretary
Rabiu Lawan of PRP – Legal Adviser
The Chairman IPAC electoral committee who was represented by the outgoing chairman of IPAC Hon Abubakar Dogara congratulated the new exco in the state.
The INEC Resident Electoral Commissioner Oliver Tersoo Agundu
H.O.D EPM Marylisa Uloko and Head of Voter Education Michael Egwurube, along with other INEC staff were present to observe the event.
