Meet Comrade Oyeinkediton Churchill Ameikumo


Oyeinkediton Churchill Amiekumo was born into the family of Retired Captain Amiepere Churchill Amiekumo 11th of January 1987 who hails from Amassoma, Goin-ama and Ogbopina-ama in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa state otherwise known as Central zone, Ogboin Clan.

He completed his secondary education at Obolo Grammar school, Oweikorogha in Southern Ijaw LGA and went on to further his studies in Swansea University, Wales United kingdom on Bachelor of science (BSc) Business Economics. Whilst undergoing his degree he created the Nigerian Students Society Swansea University (NSSSU) and became the pioneer vice president of the organisation.

He contested for the position of course representative Business Joint (Hons) in 2013 and won went on to become a student Ambassador for both the University and the School of Management after which, he contested and won as the International Student Officer in charge of students from over 85 Countries.
He contested and won the position as the Black Campaign Steering officer, National Union of Students Wales (NUSW)

He went on to work with Amazon UK an online retail company as a Stower before going to join Wolfestone as a Marketing intern.
He was saddled with a responsibility to pick up international students coming into the UK for the very first time and to help them settle down in the University.

After returning from the United kingdom in 2016 he went on to serve his father land by going on the compulsory one year National Youth Service Corp (NYSC) where he joined the Environmental Sanitation Protection CDS and became the Provost after which, he was appointed the Assistant National Secretary to the Unemployed Youth Association of Nigeria in 2017

In that same 2017 he contested for the position of Financial Secretary Ijaw Youth Council Abuja Chapter and won in a landslide victory and has been serving on that capacity till date. He is the founder and CEO of Oca Global Resources Limited

He has won numerous awards which include;

The Most Supportive Youth Leader Award in Bayelsa 2019

Over three individual contribution awards in the student union of Swansea University back to back. 2013/14/15 and 2016

A Gold Award as a Business Joint (Hons) student representative in the school of management Swansea University. Out of 386 student representatives he was amongst the three students that won that award in 2013.

He was named the Highly Recommended Part-Time Officer of the Year 2016

Gold Award as a Student Ambassador to the School of management 2016

Won the Swazzi Smooth Talker Award 2016

Whilst in the UK he was a member of various charity organisations such as Red cross, save the child, amnesty international and so on and so forth.

As the days and weeks goes by, his manifesto would be made known to the general public.
