EASTER MESSAGE FROM THE OFFICE OF THE CORDINATOR NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIAN STUDENTS ( NANS) ZONE C.

I bring you greetings in the spirit of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ as postulated and believed by christian faithfuls around the globe.
According to the holy Bible, the redemption of mankind was made possible by death of Jesus Christ on the cross of calvary. This sacrifice was necessitied by the failure of man in the Garden of Eden and the the consequent falling out with the creator, the almighty God.

The lesson drawn from this can be summarized as sacrifice, one for all and all for one, for the Holy Bible states ” as many as come to him he shall in no wise cast away” whereas Jesus as an individual gave himself for all, the demand that all come to him is sacrosanct. Consequently the relationship between a person who gives himself and the people he gave himself for cannot be overemphasized , signifying symbiotic relationship between the one who leads and those who follows.

It behoves on us, at a time like this to reflect on the importance of sacrifice for the emancipation of all those who are oppressed and the need for the oppressed to accept the sacrifice of the one saddled with the responsibility of breaking the chains off them. It is also a reminder that this celebration wouldn’t have been in place if Jesus Christ accepted the offer of governing the earth as offered by Satan( Lucifer)

The Celebration is also a reminder that we must learn to live in peace irrespective of our difference we must be united against all form of oppression, subjugation and all divisive tactics of the oppressor( Lucifer). We must also consciously abide by the teachings of Jesus Christ which is hinged on love, peace, tolerance and sacrifice.

I want to implore all Christian students in Zone C ( North East/ North Central) to reflect on how best they can replicate the attitude of Jesus Christ in all their doing. Let me reiterate that no more shall we stand and watch any student suffer oppression, for just as Christ paid the price we shall together enforce the freedom of all Nigerian students in Zone C.

Happy Easter.
Amangla AWETU.
Yours in the Struggle.
Abah Owoicho.
Cordinator NANS ZONE C.
