The Caretaker Committee of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in B/Ladi has petitioned the State CTC of the party over lingering issues stemming from the just concluded LGA Congress . In a letter jointly signed Gyang Bot Pam and Stephen Haruna Chairman and Secretary of CTC APC B/Ladi respectively and addressed the the State CTC Chairman of APC, they noted what they described as the inability of the monitoring committee to conclusively conduct the LGA Congress in some of the positions in the LGA Congress as some the position were not agreed on consensus.
According to the B/Ladi LG CTC, positions were zoned according to the 5 districts of the LGA which all the positions were cascaded down to the federal and state ward levels, some the wards had their consensus and submitted the lists to the monitoring committee by their Chairmen
They pointed out that for the LG Congress the positions that consensus was not reached and went for election include the following: Chairman, Secretary, Treasurer, Publicity secretary, Assistant organising Secretary, Assistant Treasurer, Assistant Auditor and Ex officio 1. According to them, election was conducted for the Chairmanship position and the other positions were left and the monitoring committee promised to return on Monday 6th September 2021 to either conduct the Congress or reach consensus for all the positions before issuing the forms the respective individuals.
But to their dismay, the monitoring committee issued the forms for the treasurer position to the person that contested the Chairmanship position and lost in person of Timothy Kim from Gassa/Sho.
They also raised concerns over issues from Heipang, Gassa/Sho, Tafan and Kakpwis wards which the committee are trying to the give the forms of the positions zoned to the party from those districts.
Lastly, Barkin Ladi Federal ward had the following positions zoned to them by the district stakeholders. Welfare secretary, Auditor and assistant secretary.
Consensus was reached by the stakeholders and party EXCO where the position of the Auditor was given to Hon. Gyang Boyi because of the peculiarity of the federal ward and of the various ethnic and tribal differences. But the committee issued the form to Alhaji Adamu Mohammed thereby making all the LGA positions with the federal ward Chairman inclusive going to one religion and leaving behind other religions and ethics Nationalities in the Federal ward.

Dear Sir,
INCONCLUSIVE PARTY CONGRESS ELECTION IN SOME WARDS OF BARKIN LADI LGA.
Sequal to the above subject matter, we write to inform you of the inability of the monitoring committee to conclusively conduct the LGA Congress in some of the positions in the LGA Congress as some the position were not agreed on consensus. The party the stakeholders in the LGA opted for the Congress.

We implore the indulgence of the state acting Chairman to look into this issue critically as some of the steps the committee members are taking is causing more harm than good to the growth of the party at the local Government level.
So in the interest of Justice and fairness we have resolved that elections should be conducted for the various position that consensus were not reached just as the party has prepared or the party Chairman elect submits his list to the party.
We pray our concerns are looked into critically to avoid issues of heading to court as all appropriate measures will be duelly followed to see that the mandate of all party faithfuls is given to them.
