2023: Senator Hezekiah Dimka gets major endorsement

As the 2023 General Elections draw nearer and the choice of who will replace Gov. Simon Lalong of Plateau State at Little Rayfield thickens, the Governorship ambition of the Senator representing Plateau Central Zone, the Chairman Senate Committee on Drugs and Narcotics, a retired Police Commissioner and a business Tycoon, Nde Sen. Hezekiah Dimka has elicited major boost with the endorsements being credited to his “Hope Alive” Campaign.
The endorsements came from the Dimka Family Group and Concerned Plateau Youth League.

In their separate remarks the Chairman of the Dimka Family Group, Mudimma Dimka, representative of the Elders Nde Jindu Tibin, Women Representative Mama Kiwuya Danlami and Youth representative, Thaddeus Thomas Morji all described Sen. Dimka as a bridge Builder who is working assiduously to attract infrastructural development and empower the people of Plateau Central Zone. They hinted that their decision to endorse the gubernatorial hopeful became necessary on account of the capacity he has shown in unity the Family which made them stronger.

Leader of the Concerned Plateau Youth League, Dr. Simon Komye and Ishaku Emmanuel who spoke on behalf of the group lauded the representation of the Senator, his commitment to addressing the infrastructural deficit in the zone, providing gainful employments to the Youths and training Constituents on skill acquisition. They commended his empowerment programmes and activities which they described as laudable and having direct impact on the people.

In his remark, the Senator appreciated them for the visit and said he is honored by the visit by his Family Group.
He said he will not disappoint the Dimka’s Family but continue to be a worthy Ambassador anywhere he is.
He said the Dimka Family is a global brand that must be protected and projected as I has produced global figures.

While charging them to be their brothers’ keepers, he promised not to disappoint the Family if given the mandate to serve the State.
He urged the Youths who visited to concentrate on issue-based Campaign not campaign of calumny and hate.
He asked them to always apply for job openings that are always made available saying he will do his best as he has always done.
He disclosed that youth empowerment is his priority and if given the mandate to govern the State he will ensure the right atmosphere is provided for business to thrive and work towards liberating the youths from the poverty that is bedeviling the population.

He said he will provide credible leadership and keep the Plateau alive if given the mandate.

Wife of the Senator, Mrs Esther Dimka appreciated the unity of purpose exhibited by the Dimka’s Family which she said is a step in the right direction. She said with purposive unity, the Ngas Nation will continue to rise to greatness.

A Friend to the Senator, Prof. Rotgak Gofwen disclosed that if given the opportunity, he is optimistic the Senator will perform creditably well.
He said the Senator has demonstrated credibility, competence, maturity and true patriotism.
He went further to say the Senator has proven to be trustworthy having served a former Governor of Bauchi State, Alh. Abubakar Tatari Ali as Aide-De-Camp and Nigeria meticulously as a former Commissioner of Police.

According to Prof. Gofwen, Plateau State is in dire need of an experienced, exposed and visionary Leader as Governor come 2023 and Sen. Dimka has those qualities to take Plateau State to enviable height.

Former Chairman of Kanke Local Government Council, Hon. Jurbe Gonzuk said Plateau State will be in safe hand and secured if Sen. Dimka is given the mandate to serve.

Other prominent personalities at the event which held at the residence of the Senator in Jos were Engr. Paul Gokum, Hon. Solomon Gotip, Nde Kadabba Gobum, Shadrach Golen, Nde John Goldona, Engr. Panshak Dimka and the former Member Kanke Constituency Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon. Jacob Kassam.
