Business Tycoon and philanthropist Chief Kefas Roshik (Kefiano)/has said that the people that genuinely mean well for Plateau State is the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) family.
He made this known when he visited the State Secretariat with the PDP to declare his intention to run for the office of the Executive Governor of Plateau State.

According to Chief Kefas, everyone knows him to be a private sector person and his decision to join the PDP this is the first time he is officially joining a political party as a card carrying member. Adding that he will make frantic efforts to sustain the relationship within the party, being his new family.
He said that his decision to run for the office of the Governor of Plateau State is borne out of the passion he has for Plateau State, adding that the future of Plateau State is bigger than himself.

He stated that the PDP has the highest number of people running for office because PDP is a grounded party, adding the APC is a party with borrowed structure. He said as a businessman he has done his assessment and the PDP is a solid platform, stressing that he has never identified with failure.
According to Chief Kefas, governance should be about wealth creation and changing the lives of people, adding that though Plateau is seen as a civil service state, he sees Plateau State as a commercial Hub, because Plateau State has enormous potential.

He noted that there is need to change the narrative on the Plateau, stressing that those who are comfortable are not Plateau people but people who came to settle and do business on the Plateau, especially those in the private sector. He stressed that the only way to change lives is not through public sector but private sector, urging Plateau people to open their minds to build the structures that will make Plateau State a commercial district.
He noted that he will be involved in wealth creation and bring people into wealth creation if given the mandate to become the Governor of Plateau State.
He promised to use direct labour and tap from the army of trained Plateau people to create jobs, build infrastructure at a lower cost and make everyone happy; thereby reducing capital flight and fostering local economic growth.
Chief Kefas said Plateau people must work towards having a leader who knows the potentials in Plateau State, stressing that he is such a leader that can turn the fortunes of Plateau using his experience in the private sector through which he has built his businesses over the years.
Chief Kefas said that the reason that Plateau State is having security challenges is because of the potentials the state has, stressing that those who cause security problems in Plateau seek to take certain things indigenes are not seeing. He said that the only way to solve the current security problems is to ensure that every Plateau citizen is given a sense of belonging, while also empowering the Traditional Institution which is the bedrock of the society.
