In continuance of his consultations and consolidate on the his permutations to clinch the Gubernatorial ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Dr Timothy Golu was in Mikang in order to consult and familiarize with the LG EXCO and delegates of the party.

Dr Golu who visited Mikang with his lovely Wife Mrs Chalya Golu and his entourage thanked the PDP Family in Mikang for remaining steadfast and committed to the PDP despite the events from 2015 to 2019.
Dr Golu noted that he possesses the experience required to lead Plateau State, haven served as Member Representing Kanke State Constituency (2011-2015) and National Assembly Member representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam (2015-2019). He stressed that of given the mandate, all sectors of the economy will be given due attention.

He pointed out that agriculture which is the main stay of rural dwellers has not succeeded in providing the needed reward for farmers, adding that under his watch as Governor he will do everything within his power to ensure that fertilizers and seedlings are made available to farmers at affordable rate, given that he himself is a farmer.

He promised to consolidate on the infrastructural interventions he initiated in PKK, spreading them to the entire state for all Plateau people to enjoy. He promised to transform Plateau State for the better within his first tenure in office if given the opportunity to lead the PDP in Plateau State into the 2023 Gubernatorial Polls as the flag bearer of the party.

Wife of the leading PDP Guber aspirant, Chalya Golu charged delegates to be circumspect in voting for Dr Timothy Golu. She promised youths and women greater opportunity if Dr Timothy Golu is given the mandate.

Deputy Chairman, PDP Mikang LGA, Kokwus Lalong who received Dr Golu and his entourage on behalf of the LG EXCO thanked him for coming and promised to support his aspiration considering that Dr Golu has been a friend of the people of Mikang right from his days at the National Assembly.
In a rare show of sportsmanship Dr Timothy Golu met with Chief Kefas Ropshik (Kefiano) in Tunkus. They both exchanged peasantries and wished each other well.
