Leading aspirant for the Gubernatorial ticket of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was in PDP office in Mabudi Langtang South LGA to interface with the PDP family in Langtang South LGA in furtherance of his consultative tour of the 17 LGAs of Plateau State.
Dr Golu who was accompanied by his lovely wife Mrs Chalya Golu and his entourage expressed satisfaction with the support and stability the PDP in Langtang South has brought to the PDP in Plateau State.
Dr Golu thanked the PDP Chairman Langtang South LGA for leading him and his entourage to the Sunday service before bringing them to the party office.
Dr Golu commended the PDP family in Langtang South for the peaceful nature they conduct themselves during all party engagements. He thanked them for receiving and welcoming him and his entourage.
He appreciated the PDP Family in Langtang South for remaining strong, keeping faith in the PDP to ensure that the party remains strong in Plateau State.
Dr Golu while lamenting the misadministration of the APC in Nigeria wondered why APC aspirants continue telling the public that they want to change or transform, which according to him is a statement of fact that the APC has failed the people.
Dr Golu said that with his experience as a former State and Federal Legislator he has the capacity to deliver the dreams and desires of Plateau people. Dr Golu noted that he has a dream of ensuring that state is brought to the level of development that the state deserves.
Dr Golu pointed out that Langtang South has the capacity to feed Plateau State considering the fertile agricultural potentials but the current APC led administration in Plateau State has failed to give vent for this potential to be able to feed Plateau State.
He stated that though there are other aspirants, he is the only aspirant that possesses the required experience, capacity and capability to deliver on the mandate of Plateau people, haven served in the State House of Assembly as member representing Kanke State Constituency and the National Assembly representing Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency.
He promised not interfere or meddle in the activities of the State House of Assembly because of his experience as a former lawmaker. Dr Golu lamented the manner in which the Governor of Plateau State, Simon Bako Lalong a former speaker has reduced the Plateau State House of Assembly to his own personal dictates.
He promised to focus on Security, Tourism, Mining and other areas that can function properly if the state is well restructured. Dr Golu said that his security strategy will encompass state police and community and family level security strategy. He commended the Tarok Nation for taking security very serious irrespective of political differences, which is an example for all Plateau people to learn from.
He called the PDP family to try him by voting him massively come Monday 23rd May 2022 to become the gubernatorial flag bear of the PDP in Plateau State ahead of the 2023 Generals.
Wife of the leading aspirant, Mrs Chalya Golu thanked the PDP family in Langtang South for receiving her husband and his entourage well and promised to accommodate them in the dealing of aspirant up to the General Elections. She encouraged them to remain steadfast in their support for the PDP while assuring them that a government under the leadership of Dr Timothy Golu will not put them to shame.
Dr Timothy Golu donated the sum of six hundred and twenty thousand naira only (N620,000) to the EXCO, delegates and supporters.
