Hon Ziphion Terkop Chrysanthus has been declared winner of the just concluded primary elections of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) for Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency.
Ziphion Terkop defeat six other aspirants in what appears to be a very competitive and keenly contested primary elections in the history of the constituency.
Ziphion pulled a total of 35 votes to beat his closest contender Chief Ephraim Usman who pulled 30 votes. Hon Sam Goar pulled 7 votes, while Emmanuel Zopmal and Engineer Nensok Gonnet both pulled 6 votes each. Arch Hart Bankat pulled a total of 2 votes, while Othnel Peter Danat scored 1 vote. The only female aspirant Dr Chikas Kumle withdrew from the race in the interest of the unity of the party..
