The Association of Local Government of Nigeria (ALGON) Plateau State Chapter how has a new EXCO. This was following following an election by the Council Chairmen of the seventeen local governments in the state. The election which took place in Jos according to reliable sources saw the emergence of Miskoom Alex Naantuam has emerged as the New Algon Chairman Plateau State. He was elected by his colleagues alongside Hon. Henry Gotip of kanke as the New Algon Secretary.
The Council Chairman of Bokkos Gocal Government Hon. Joseph Goluwa was elected Treasurer, Hon Yakubu Izang of Jos East elelcted Financial Secretary, Hon. Shehu Bala Usman of Jos North elected Vice chairman, while Hon Ado Buba Executive Chairman of Wase Local Government is to serve as Public Relations Officer.
